Feathered Fiasco’s Bird Of Prey

Sadly this year my aviary has been attacked by a sparrowhawk. He has killed a few of my little ones and injured a couple others. He killed Daffodil, Elmo, Bumble, Coral (injured Celeste and Honey). 

Bumble was initially injured by the hawk a few months ago, her leg was broken. She made a recovery all on her own, the leg fell off at the break and healed up well. She adapted to life with one leg really well. Still getting round and nesting up. Last week, the hawk returned after a hiatus and managed to get her a second time and this time he was successful. When I did my usual roll call count and couldn't find her, I searched the exterior and found some of her feathers. She lives on in spirit with her soulmate Patch once again. Their chicks Buttons, Biscuit and Cameo continuing their little legacy.
